 Very good to excellent condition, red cloth hard cover, gilt lettering. 813 crisp pages, free of folds, stains or tears. 326 color and black & white plates of buttons, with each plate picturing up to 50 buttons, showing detailed descriptions and estimated values. I purchased this book brand new many years ago but probably only thumbed through its pages a couple of times. This book also comes with a BONUS INSERT, written by Elizabeth Hughes, featuring button prices for 1995. The photos should speak for themselves.
The only problems worth noting are a small black scuff on the outside corner of pages (see photo). Also, when I purchased the book NEW, it arrived with a factory flaw on the first 15 pages ONLY. There is a rippling on the inside of the pages close to the binding. The rippling gets better with each turn of the page and by page 16, is gone. This does not affect the overall fantastic condition of the book, nor does it affect the plates. I have included several photos to show how the rippling gets fainter and fainter.
