Primitive Folk Art Santa doll with toy soldier and pony

Hi and thanks for dropping in for a peek. I hope you'll consider adding this whimsical Santa to your holiday folk art collection. He head is made from stained muslin. He has a needle sculpted nose and mouth with softly drawn soulful eyes. His whiskers, hair and brows are made with creamy white sheep's wool and he wears a stocking style Santa cap trimmed with cotton, hand stitching and a rusty jingle bell at the tip.

This folky Santa is free standing. His body and sleeves are made from a soft brushed cotton fabric in wine red. His suit has been adorned with soft cotton batting, hand stitchin' and rusty jingle bell buttons.

He comes bearing gifts of course! A hand painted toy soldier made from muslin......

and of course, a stocking with chenille candy canes dusted with German glass glitter for a touch of sparkle.

Santa stands about 13 inches high and has a weighted bottom. All fabric used have been aged to add a vintage appearance. He is a Tricky Stitches original design and will come to you signed, dated and with a guarantee to make you smile!

As Always, no reserve and everyone is welcome. I use only top quality materials and quilt shop fabrics in my creations. Many hours of work and lots of love go into each piece.
