I called Huntington Witherill about this image today and not only is this a vintage photo, but it could be the first one made from the negative. As per the label on the back, it's marked AP/NC. This is his marking for an Artist Proof/Not Cataloged. It's the marking he used for his first prints, if he like the image he would then give it a negative file number. He when on to tell me that if he had this image he would sell it for $1,600.00 or more!
