Hello, Up for auction is the Holy Grail of all Barack Obama collectibles- This auction is for a signed copy of "Dreams from My Father", by Barack Obama.
This is a true first edition / first print.
Number line runs from 2-9, per random house policy. You might think that this
is a 2nd printing, but it's not- take a look at Random House's 1995 structure-
all first printings started at 2. Please note- that this is not one of the
newer revised editions- this is the original
1995 copy, with only 7,500 copy's ever produced,
and maybe only half
of those currently in existence. This copy is in near mint condition
with its
original dust jacket. The dust jacket is in near mint condition. The
signature
is 100% authentic and can be 100% proven. Trust me there aren’t a whole
lot of
people who own a copy of this book, so no one would ever be that dumb
to try
and falsify a signature on a book this rare. The book is not only
valuable
because of the high potential of our first black president, but also
because of
how rare the actual book is (only 7,500 ever produced). Some private
book
sellers are currently selling this same book for $25,000, but not me-
I'll let
you decide on the value. I've seen unsigned copy's of this book sell
for $4,000
a few months ago. It's obvious that this could be a huge investment,
but the
bottom line is if Obama becomes the first black president this will not
only be
valuable in terms of collectibles, it will also represent a historical
item,
worthy of being in a museum. Trust me this might be one of your only
opportunities to get this book in an auction style format. Please ask

On Sep-06-08 at 17:55:50 PDT, seller added the following information:I have added two pictures of when I met Obama :) One pic is of him walking towards me, surrounded by Secret Service and NBA star Jordan Farmar... The other is of him standing directly in front of me.... I have more pictures, however I will show those to the winning bidder...I also have media clips (interview by ABC news)... and a news article stating my name/personal info and documenting the signature....by a staff writer from the LA Times (which was published in the local paper)... I will also provide that information to the winning bidder... Because it has my personal information I will not release that information... Only the winning bidder will receive is as proof of the signatures authenticity... If the signature is not 100% authentic (which it is) I will refund the money.....To answer a few more questions...
