Large format hardcover book, 10.5" x 10.5", 332 pages.
NEAR FINE book in a NEAR FINE dustjacket, just a bit of wear/creasing at the top of the spine, otherwise looks and feels As New and Unread - tight, bright, clean and unmarked. A LOVELY copy.
A book of David Hamilton photographs, mainly nudes. A wonderful and large collection of his works, many of which are published here for the first time.
A lovely David Hamilton collectible. Very hard-to-find in the United States.
For those already familiar with Hamilton's work, this is a nice overview of his career with many classic photos and many images that haven't been seen before. All the photographic images are printed on their own page, and the paper is satin finished rather than glossy, which best suits the soft light and pale colors of Hamilton's photos. A gentle retrospective that, like all of Hamilton's works, is beautiful and harmless. We could use more of that in the world.
