Volume 1 summary: Katsura needs a hug. Since childhood, his out-of-control anxiety can only be relieved by a good “squeeze” from his brother’s best friend, Sou. But how does Sou really feel about being a walking security blanket? Is it a giant embarrassment, or is there something else behind Sou’s surly disposition? To make matters worse, the inter-school archery tournament is coming up, and Katsura may need Sou’s hugs more than ever just to get through it – especially after being faced with the nerve-rattling advances of his friend and teammate, Kouichi!
Volume 2 summary: Now that the inter-school tournament is over, Sou and the other third years have retired, leaving Kouichi and Katsura in charge of the archery team. Their first order of business is spring training camp – but with the inconsistencies in Katsura’s bow, will the archery club really be okay? As the physical nature of Sou and Katsura’s relationship escalates, Katsura’s insecurities spiral out of control. Volume 3 summary: The Red and White Tournament is here, and the time has come for vice-captain Katsura to prove something to the archery students, and to himself. As Katsura’s confidence grows, others start to take notice. New acquaintance, Akira, begins vying for his affections – much to the chagrin of current love-rivals Kouichi and Sou.
