Provides balance control to stereo headphones
Personal cassette players that use headphones do not have balance controls. They require the use of an adapter to listen to multi track cassettes. The adapter is a simple device about an inch and a half long that isolates the left and right tracks. It plugs into the headphone jack of a personal cassette player. The headphones then plug into the adapter. Brilliance brand audiobooks puts three hours of listening on each tape -- twice the normal amount! Since they record the story separately on the right and left tracks of stereo tape, you must give your tapeplayer's headphones the ability to isolate each speaker through the use of the Bookcassette Adapter.
The Bookcassette Adapter gives you balance control on your headphones and is easy to use. Plug it into the stereo jack of your personal tapeplayer and then plug your headphones into the other side.
